The Roads Converge Here
ADHD-fueled journeys that don't fit the norm. From noir detectives to dimension-hopping heroes, action and humor shake hands and give boredom the bum’s rush.
Welcome To My World(s)
The darkness of the room engulfs me like a man who hasn’t paid his electric bill. In my line of work, the paydays are few and sporadic. Whatever lurks in the corners of my mind, be it mystery, suspense, the macabre or the outrageous, you can bet that it is enjoyed by a precious few. And trust me, friend, not one of those few are sitting on a mound of cash. If they are, they didn’t inform me. “Largess” doesn’t seem to be a word in their vocabulary. In fact, it’s not in my vocabulary - I looked it up to learn how the other half lived.
The name is Vince Hase. Here at my desk I am bombarded by the random thoughts of my trade. I gave it all a name: Quantum Noir. Where adventurers stumble into alternate worlds, hard-boiled detectives find the rug of reality pulled away from their eyes, and horror is met with a wisecrack and a shrug. I find hope in cynicism, and light in darkness. If you don’t like the way I drive, pal, stay clear of the walkway.
Through all the twists and turns, I simply plug along. What else is there to do? Someone has to take all the randomness and make something out of it - It might just as well be me. And the stories? I think they’re worth the trip, or I wouldn’t keep punching at it day after day.
After all, accountancy is for the ones who give up the fight, and that ain’t me, brother. If I wanted a nine to five, I would have taken a correspondence course. Instead, I type away on this Royal until my fingers go numb, letting the darkness out to play and giving you spectacle to gawk at.
So, why not pull up a chair? The coffee's a bit old, but the tales are fresh and ready to pounce.

Standard Disclaimers
Side effects of reading my work may include:
Humor that shows up out of left field. Sometimes right field, but mostly left. After all, I’m left-handed (which has nothing to do with the phrase “out of left field,” but now, unfortunately, I have the word ‘left’ stuck in my head).
Increased creative confidence, along with the urge to start seventeen projects at once.
The realization that being different isn't just okay—it's a tactical advantage.
Left. I told you it was stuck in my head.
Your Move, Friend.
